Dolgoed House nestles at the foot of the Garn Goch an iron-age hillfort in the small village of Bethlehem. The original farmhouse at Dolgoed, this particular conversion by local architect and artist Donald Jones, is exceptional and certainly has the WOW factor with exposed wooden beams, high ceilings and unique designs throughout. Recently graded 5-star by Visit Wales, this property is an ideal place for holiday reunions with family and friends while appreciating the beauty of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
A fully-equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher makes cooking easy. Washing machine and dryer can be found in an adjacent garage. Leading off the kitchen is a large living/dining room complete with 40inch flat screen TV, Blu ray dvd player, Bluetooth music system and log burner. The dining area, with large extendable table, seats up to 10 and there is access through to the large terrace at the rear of the property. The hallway leading from the living-dining area benefits from a downstairs cloakroom.
From the living/dining room you can access the two downstairs double bedrooms both of which benefit from en-suite facilities. The large downstairs double also has access to the terrace to the rear and a 40” TV.
The remarkable glass-sided staircase leads up to a large twin bedroom that once again benefits from en-suite facilities and the third double bedroom. The upstairs double also has its own bathroom and 20” TV.
